4961 Falco Rd
In the middle of the Conecuh National Forest, come see our deer, turkey, squirrels and foxes
This 2400 sq foot, 4-bedroom home sits on 11 acres, and has paved access

An additional 80 acres of timber behind the house is for sale, and is well-isolated from any other houses
The house is from about 1930, with real (thick) cherry paneling in the den, and a large Tennessee Field Stone fireplace.
The main attaction is the surrounding national forest, and the very quiet and peaceful surroundings.
The house sits at the end of the paved road, but has public water and even high-speed internet. There are plenty of deer and turkey all along the road in front of the house. The old plantings of Azaleas and Japanese Maple and pecans give a very old-South look to the yard. (Well, maybe Japanese Maple is not old-South, but it does look really good). The large circle drive makes it easy to get a lot of cars and trucks in and out. Other features include a barn with a concrete floor and two shop areas. A pickup truck and maybe a yard tractor with trailer might be included if the grandkids let them go.
Below the house (to the right) is the old Blackwater creek, which comes out of the Wolf Bay Thicket Swamp one mile away, and flows to Pensacola, Florida.
The estate is about one hour from Florida beaches and airports in Fort Walton Beach and Pensacola. It is less than one hour to Eglin Air Force Base.
The best shopping is 30 minutes away in Cresview, Florida, but groceries and doctors and auto parts are in Baker, Florida or Andalusia, Alabama.
This is a beautiful and quiet refuge, surrounded by pine forests and lots of wildlife. There are not even many hunters or fishermen.
Buy the house, or swap us for your house (or condo/townhome) in central or eastern Montgomery.
